Aldesa - Aldesa signs a new contract in the oil & gas sector

Aldesa, via its subsidiary company Aldesa Polska Services Sp. z o.o., has signed a new contract in the oil & gas sector. The client, PERN, is the national and regional leader in crude oil logistics in Poland.

The scope of the project includes the construction of three steel oil tanks – two in Dębogórze and one in Nowa Wieś. The completion time is estimated in 64 weeks.

This is not the first time PERN trusts in Aldesa to develop a construction project. A year ago, the company sucessfully completed the construction of two tanks for Class III petroleum products were built, each with a capacity of 32,000 m3, along with the accompanying infrastructure at the base in Dębogórze, near Gdynia, one of the three largest port-cities of Poland. The project was completed after a record-short construction time of 52 weeks thanks to the innovative construction method used.

Currently, Aldesa is completing another investment for PERN in Kujawsko-Pomorskie, started in 2021.

Aldesa, present in Poland since 2007, won one of its main contracts till date at the beginning of the year, valued at PLN 314 million (69,8 million euros), to rebuild a 50-km-long section of the Ełk–Korsze railway line. Furthermore, it is in charge of the construction of tram routes in Poznań and Gdańsk and the implementation of the Dynamic Passenger Information System for PKP PLK at 133 stations and stops throughout the country. The company is also the general contractor for four sections of expressways, including S19, S6 and S7 and a reference in the field of wind energy, information systems (ITS) and security systems. As a global company, Aldesa operates in Spain, Slovakia, Mexico, Peru, Chile and Colombia, among other markets.
