Aldesa - Aldesa will renovate a luxury hotel in Poland to the standard of the Marriot International chain for approximately 20 million euros

Quadrature, an Aldesa subsidiary specializing in space fit-out and renovation projects, will carry out the modernization project of an emblematic hotel in Poznań, Poland, for approximately 20 million euros. It is the Ikar Hotel, which, after the refurbishment and remodeling works, will meet the demanding requirements of the Four Points category by Sheraton of the luxury hotel chain Marriott International.

The contract was awarded by PHH Hotele, owner of historic establishments such as the Royal Hotel in Krakow and a benchmark in the Polish hotel sector. The project will be designed by EMKAA Architekci, with technical assistance from APP Projekt.
The hotel, with ten floors and one floor below ground level, will house a total of 156 rooms and various common areas such as restaurants, gym, conference rooms, etc. The project undertaken by Quadrature, which will be carried out on a “turnkey basis”, includes everything from demolition and structural reinforcement works to the complete renovation of the installations and supplies (electricity, ventilation, automation, etc.), as well as their equipment and furnishings.

With this contract, Quadrature adds a new reference to its portfolio of hotel projects with outstanding achievements in Europe and Latin America. These include the Royalton Suites Hotel & Resort in Quintana Roo, Mexico (a 17-story tower where it carried out foundation, structural and civil works); the complete renovation of a section of the Princesa Plaza Hotel in Madrid (Spain) without interrupting the business in the rest of the building; the adaptation for hotel use of an educational center more than 100 years old in Hungary, today the A&O Hostel Budapest City; and, also for the A&O chain, its first establishment in Warsaw (Poland).
