Aldesa - Aldesa begins construction of a section of road DW877: Dylągówka – Szklary

An official information and promotional event held in Hyżne marked the launch of the reconstruction and upgrade project of Voivodeship Road 878 Tyczyn – Dylągówka, co-financed by the European Funds for Podkarpackie. The broader investment includes the modernisation of three strategic sections, covering over 25 kilometres from Tyczyn to Dynów.

Aldesa Construcciones Polska has been appointed to deliver Section 2: DW 877 Dylągówka – Szklary. This section involves the redevelopment and realignment of the road over a stretch of 4.79 km. Key elements include redesigning the junction of DW 878 with DW 877 to improve road safety and straightening a winding segment in Dylągówka by constructing a new route along a fresh alignment.

Our team at Aldesa has extensive experience with infrastructure projects in the Podkarpackie region. We are currently working on the construction of the S19 expressway between Krosno and Miejsce Piastowe, and with the DW 877 project, we continue to contribute to enhancing the local road network. Familiarity with the terrain, technical expertise and commitment to delivering safe, modern infrastructure are our strengths in this region.” said Rafał Kański General Manager of Aldesa in Poland.

The total value of the three sections stands at over PLN 466 million, with nearly PLN 380 million funded by the European Union under the 2021–2027 European Funds for Podkarpackie programme.

A statement from Angela Martinez-Sarasola, Head of the Polish Unit of DG REGIO at the European Commission, was read during the press conference:

The European Union is proud to support the reconstruction and upgrade of Voivodeship Road 878 with over PLN 162 million in funding. This investment directly enhances road safety, mobility and quality of life for residents in the heart of the Podkarpackie region. It also supports local businesses, service providers and workers by improving day-to-day connectivity and creating opportunities for economic growth.”

The ceremony was attended by national and regional authorities, Members of Parliament, European Commission representatives, local government officials, and representatives of the contractors responsible for the project.
