Aldesa - CAS, Aldesa’s concessionaire in Mexico, obtains the highest score in the GRESB Infrastructure 2024 benchmark

CAS, one of Aldesa’s concessionaires in Mexico, holds a prominent position in the GRESB Infrastructure 2024 benchmark after reaching, once again this year, the highest possible score: 100/100 points. For the third consecutive year, it has positioned itself as a sustainability reference in Latin America and the Caribbean by ranking first in the Road & Transport sectors. It has also been distinguished as “GRESB 5 Green Stars”.

Once again, this distinction reflects the organisation’s wish to carry out sustainable operations, launching projects that promote social wellbeing and environmental friendliness.

Thus, CAS has obtained the highest possible scores under GRESB Infrastructure in all ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) criteria, i.e. 25/25 in Environmental matters; 48/48 in Social Matters; and 27/27 in Governance matters, as a result of its solid management in these sustainability cornerstones.

Aldesa has been CAS’s reference shareholder since 2007 and, along with its partner AINDA Energía e Infraestructura, it operates and maintains the Tuxtla Gutiérrez-San Cristóbal de las Casas (46.5 km) and Arriaga-Ocozocoautla (93 km) toll motorways in the State of Chiapas, Mexico. These motorways link the State’s main cities to the Pacific Coast and Altos de Chiapas. In 2023, more than 12 million journeys were registered in these roads, reflecting their importance for local mobility and economic growth.
