Construction of the S17 Piaski – Łopiennik expressway

Aldesa will design and build a 16.6km section of the S17 Piaski – Łopiennik expressway. The value of the contract is about PLN 810 million.

The route will follow a new track, along the current national road No. 17, starting at the Piaski Wschód interchange, which will be rebuilt to connect the S17 road with the S12 Piaski – Dorohusk route. Three new road interchanges will be built as part of the project: Piaski Południe, Faislawice and Łopiennik. The newly constructed section of the S17 expressway will be a two-lane route with roads to serve local traffic, engineering structures, drainage and road lighting within the interchanges. The investment also includes the installation of environmental protection equipment, including noise barriers and the construction of animal crossings. A traffic management system will also be implemented.

The Piaski – Lopiennik section is part of the expressway between Piaski and Hrebenne, with a total length of 125 km.
